Published On: 17th February 2014

We can report that we have successfully recovered just under £13,900.00 from a private individual on behalf of a Builder in relation to products and services supplied by our Client.

We made direct contact with the debtor and supplied them with full evidence of the claim and outlined our Clients intentions to pursue this matter further if necessary, the debtor claimed this balance was fully disputed but refused to supply evidence on many occasions.

We advised our Client of the legal options available, as the Client was aware he had a collection of classic sports cars he choose to instruct us to proceed with County Court Proceedings with a view to seize these vehicles should payment still not be forthcoming.

The debtor failed to respond to the claim and we obtained a CCJ (County Court Judgment) against the debtor and instructed our HCEO (High Court Enforcement Officers).

HCEO  attended the debtors address but received no answer from the debtor. Our HCEO done some investigating and found peaceful entry through an unlocked gate were he seized one of the classic sports cars which had a value of over £15,000.00.

Shortly after posting notice of seizure to the debtor the full payment was received including costs and these fund have now been transferred to our Client.

Our Client is extremely pleased with the outcome as these funds had been outstanding for over 9 months.
